Lavender

The lavender can be found in the area of Le Vieil Aiglun.  Major fields are located on the "Plateau de Valensole", at half an hour driving from Le Vieil Aiglun.  The lavender is blossoming as from Mid-June.  The harvest starts mid-July, period during which the attractive smell joins the colours of the flowers and the blue sky.
