The via ferrata of Digne-les-Bains and Prads-Haute-Bléone are respectively located at 12 km and 39 km from Vieil Aiglun. Both via ferrata are clasified as AD+ (fairly difficult+) with the exception of a more difficult alternative at Prads. The course takes about 2h in Digne-les-Bains (open all year) and about 3h in Prads (open from April to October). The material can be rented at the tourist board of Digne-les-Bains and at the Camping Mandala in Prads.
The via ferrata does not require special skills. However, beginners can call a mountain guide if in doubt.
